Second interior finish of the day completed! ✅
White and gray leathered marble paired with a black pebble pool finish. Sleek, elegant, and contemporary. This one is almost across the finish line and ready for the cage! We were in and out quickly, worked quietly, and left everything cleaned up ahead of the deadlines. All glory to God for the strength, the provision, and the opportunity to work!
But beyond the beautiful finishes, remember what truly matters. What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul?
You can live in a neighborhood full of two million dollar homes, have the nicest pool on the block, the cleanest car, and a perfect house by the world’s standards. But without a faithful relationship with your Creator through Jesus Christ, what do you really have that will last?
King Solomon, renowned for his extraordinary riches and wisdom, knew firsthand everything this world could offer. Yet in the closing words of Ecclesiastes, traditionally understood as his reflections late in life, he recorded this conclusion through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit:
“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.” Ecclesiastes 12:13 to 14
On that final day, our possessions will not speak for us. Did we believe in God’s Son? Did we follow Him, walk in holiness, and obey His Word?
Turn from sin and turn to Jesus. Believe the gospel, surrender to Him as Lord, and follow Him in obedience. We do not have to walk this out in our own strength. When we humbly ask Him for help to follow Him, His Spirit of grace will help us, strengthen us, and lead us in His ways.
Eternal life is found in Him alone. Not in religion, a denomination, or religious activities, but only in a living relationship with Jesus Christ, worshiping Him in spirit and in truth and walking according to His Word.
Rejoice, give thanks in all circumstances, and give God the glory. A beautiful home is a blessing, but nothing compares to knowing Jesus Christ!
