A Historic Day for Local 1 Hawaiʻi and Organized Labor!

Today, BAC Local 1 Hawaiʻi, alongside our fellow trade unions, proudly signed a MOA with the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA).

This agreement ensures that skilled union labor will be utilized on OHA's future projects, including the Kakaʻako Makai development, where OHA plans to build its first residential structure.

This milestone represents a shared vision of creating opportunities for our local workforce while strengthening our communities.

Local workers building local projects for local people!

🤙🏽 Happy Aloha Friday!

Behind every good mason is a great laborer. Mixing mortar, keeping the mud coming, and helping keep the job moving — Hod Carriers play a huge part in getting the job done right.

We’re thankful for all the hardworking men and women who show up every day and put in the work. We appreciate you!

Mahalo and Happy Aloha Friday! 🤙🏽
