In the heart of downtown Honolulu, Kokua Hale is redefining senior living with style, culture, and community. This 20-story residence offers 222 affordable homes for kupuna, complete with welcoming community spaces, garden planters, and shaded outdoor seating.

Our team leveraged advanced building information modeling (BIM) software powered by artificial intelligence to carefully schedule and plan every stage of the project. This technology played a key role in guiding critical decisions, ensuring the safe and efficient construction of the structure and its exterior façade within a tight footprint surrounded by busy streets and neighboring buildings.

Throwing it back to its humble beginnings in 1959, has grown to become the world’s largest open-air mall and a true cornerstone of Honolulu’s community and culture. What many may not know is that Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company, founded in 1902 by Walter F. Dillingham, laid the foundation—both literally and figuratively—for this iconic landmark.

Spanning 64,105 sq. ft. of amenities across two levels, Victoria Place offers infinity and lap pools, spa, fitness center, private dining, theater, cabanas, and more—comparable to Honolulu’s finest private clubs.

Located next to Victoria Ward Park, the project integrates architecture, interiors, and landscape architecture, enhancing Ward Village’s green spaces and walkable lifestyle.

After a comprehensive search and review process, we found Barbara's extensive experience in human resources to be a perfect match for our organization's needs. With over 20 years in the field, she has demonstrated a profound understanding of various HR functions and the ability to perform them confidently and excellently.

Barbara is a detail-oriented professional who has built positive relationships across all levels of organizations, from upper management to frontline workers. Her results-oriented focus is complemented by a skill set that includes employee relations, onboarding, training, and benefits/compensation management, alongside proven multi-tasking, communication, and organization abilities.

In her new role, Barbara will be a key player in driving the DHO HR initiatives and strategies. She is committed to fostering a supportive and productive workplace environment and is eager to develop strong, collaborative relationships with all of you.

We are excited to announce that Mina Webster has joined our team as the new Benefits and Leave Specialist. Mina brings a wealth of human resources experience, with a strong emphasis on benefit plans and leave administration, recruitment, performance management, and employee relations, to name a few.
