Suttonscapes, LLC was founded by David Sutton, who has over 30 years of experience of developing bare earth and blending all aspects of construction into a finished landscape. Suttonscapes clients range from IBM, GE, Corning Glass, and the country estate of actress Bette Midler, as well as friends, family, or neighbors. They offer a range of services from very large projects to a small garden bed.
Dave has established a professional network of relationships with cutting edge suppliers, all trades of contractors, architects, and engineers to provide access to whatever the client needs, and refers work to them when necessary to better serve the client. Some of their more ambitious projects have included building a helipad for General Electric; setting trees onto rooftops in Manhattan; developing a fountain for Corning Glass that is illuminated at night that can be seen for miles; and installing a pedestrian bridge at IBM with the aid of helicopters. They also were called upon to re-build stonework at a National historic site. Suttonscapes also specializes in building ponds, and is the leading northeast installer for Bend Tarp Liners, one of the best-known in the field. Sutton excels in incorporating all aspects of construction into seamless landscape designs that are not only beautiful but functional. Backed by an extremely talented crew and heavy duty equipment, every project is personally supervised by Dave. Your project may be as simple as rejuvenating your existing landscape, putting in an herb garden, or small water feature. Many well-known garden designers refer their clients to Suttonscapes.
