We've begun construction on Beaumont Mill, a class A multifamily development located in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Taft Family Ventures is partnering with a local Spartanburg group in a Joint Venture for the development and ownership for the project.

Beaumont Mill is designed to tie in modern and industrial features of the historic mill with the adjacent renovated Spartanburg Regional Healthcare building, which was part of the original mill. The development will encompass 208,625 square feet of rentable space and feature 275 apartment homes, with a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom options. Under a Development Agreement with the City and County of Spartanburg, 10% of the units will be reserved for workforce housing.

This summer, we began construction on The Gateway, a luxury multifamily apartment development located in Orlando, Florida. JBL Development, LLC is the developer for the project, alongside architect Baker Barrios Architects.

The Gateway will encompass more than 417,000 square feet across its residential, parking and amenity spaces and feature 270 luxury apartment homes, including smart studio, junior one-bedroom, and one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans. The five-story, gated community will offer thoughtfully designed residences with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, LED backlit vanity mirrors, and tile showers with glass doors and tile tub surrounds.
