July Compassionate Collection

Every month we have a compassionate collection; and what is more compassionate but collecting the Holy Bible to share with those who cannot afford or don't know that they should even have their own.

Do you remember getting your first Bible? It may have come from your parents, or a grandparents, from your church or some other person who really cared about you; well, a lot of people in the margins haven't experienced this. So it should be special for them when they get their first Bible.

So we suggest, that you put a handwritten note and maybe mark your favorite scripture passage in the Bible that you donate. This way new initiates to scripture reading know where to start. We also suggest that you pray over the copy of the Bible that you donate and the person that may eventually receive it.

Thank you so much for helping us out and providing a much needed resource to the community in which we live, the Word of the WORD.
