A blighted site in Vadnais Heights, MN became a 200,000 sq ft gateway to the city.

When Minnetonka High School needed more ice, there was only one place left to build: a hillside on the edge of campus.

We designed an addition to the Pagel Center Ice Arena that made it work, a full NHL-size ice sheet with locker rooms, training facilities, storage, a public lobby and meeting spaces, all built into a challenging site that most would have written off.
