When a sewer line fails, it’s not always a same-day fix.

Before we can even start digging, state law requires us to notify utility companies so gas, electric, water, and communication lines can be located and marked.
⏱️ That process usually takes about 3 days — and there’s no way around it.

Then comes the repair or replacement.

The part you can control? Planning ahead.

Many sewer lines fail because they’re:

• Cracked or collapsed
• Full of roots
• Settled or holding water

Every pipe in your home has a specific purpose, and because of that there are different codes that determine how they must be installed.

Things like:

✔ Pipe size
✔ Slope of the line
✔ Depth of the trench
✔ Type of bedding under the pipe
✔ Venting requirements

All of these details matter.

In this photo we’re checking the depth and elevation of the line to make sure everything is installed the way it should be before the trench gets filled back in.

Because once it’s buried in concrete or dirt…
you don’t want to find out it was done wrong later.
