After stripping a bumper we realized why it has such a rough texture. We ground and sanded on it as far as one could without removing too much metal then used powder as a filler and finally got this thing smoothed out for the customer.

The illusion series from prismatic is so crazy in how they react to clear. The silver looking color is the illusion pink before clear then the pink after clear.

“The other guy is cheaper” this is a phrase I’ve heard for over nine years now and this is why. We got this job in as a recoat and as we started chemically stripping the old powder we realized there was no prep work done whatsoever! Well it’s not hard to figure out by this job how the “ other guy” is cheaper. Our process is to completely remove old powder by chemically stripping and blasting, then pretreat the part with iron phosphate for a rust preventative, and finally coat the part with a complete oven cure. The philosophy I always stand behind is we’re not the cheapest but the best!
