Although the snow may say otherwise, the summer lawn care season will be here before you know it.

Northern Lights Landscaping LLC is looking to expand our crew for summer lawn maintenance. We are seeking two individuals to help with lawn trimmings, edging, and other related tasks. We are a fully insured company and have worker’s compensation coverage as well.

This job would provide flexible hours one to two days a week and would be ideal for high school/college age individuals. You must pass a background check and hold a valid Michigan driver’s license. We started our landscaping company with one goal in mind. Give back to the community as much as possible! To date, we have sponsored Houghton Lake Rotary Club Auction and Golf Outing, the Honor Flight Golf Outing, and the Muskegon River Throw Down. We still have a few more donations to give this year.

Good Morning!

I just want to pass some information along regarding our summer lawn mowing schedule. We do have a mowing team here at NLL who work really hard! They have recently approached me asking if they can start earlier so they can beat the heat this summer. We agreed they can start as early as they please, but mowing cannot start until 7 am due to the local ordinances.

Today was the first day of the new schedule! They showed up at 6:20 am and began loading the equipment and looking over everything. They pulled out at 7 am ready to take on the day!

Seeing this made me extremely happy and excited for them. They are young adults striving to be the best person they can be while trying to make your lawns look as good as they can!

With this new schedule, I understand this can be inconvenient to some people and I would like to apologize if it has been this morning.

Northern Lights Landscaping LLC is still looking for additional employees this summer. While we already have solidified our lawn crews, we are now looking for an individual to assist with landscaping jobs.

This individual will work on an as needed basis to assist in a variety of landscaping jobs including, but not limited to: Mulching, tree clearings, new bed installs, and more. No experience is necessary, but a valid drivers and quality work ethic is required.
