We haven’t updated in quite a while and I have not done a great job in capturing photos.

Crews are working on a propane bulk plant site for Daigle Oil Company at the Houlton Industrial Park.

Crews also worked installing a propane tank site at Pineland Farms.

A crew has begun work with Buildings Etcetera on a project at UMPI.

Another crew is working in Indian Twp on the Peter Dana Point Road which consists of several cross culverts, ditching, granite curb and sidewalks, milling, HMA shim and overlay.

One crew continues on a water-main project when they aren’t helping out at other sites. They have encountered a lot of ledge which has slowed them down but they should complete major work over next two weeks and then begin some additional work just awarded to us.

We completed the annual sludge removal and load out at the treatment plant.

We partnered Buildings Etcetera for replacement of the entry slab at Katahdin Trust’s Houlton Branch.

We have been doing the earthwork for a new camp being built by Mac Moody.

We completed work in Millinocket for Buildings Etcetera.

Our Downtown crew has moved to Indian Twp and are just awaiting a final walk through with DOT/Sewall for any punch-list closeout items in the coming weeks.

Downtown Houlton Sidewalk Announcement!

Starting tomorrow there will be two crews working on sidewalk fine grade and by mid morning Steelstone will also begin paving. Areas will be congested and a lot will be going on.

This will continue through much of next week as the major work of this project wraps up with incidentals and cleanup the week thereafter.

Our crews are working longer days right now to get out ahead. They are working 5 am to 7/8 PM so expect workers, moving equipment and trucks and backup alarms during these hours. We appreciate your understanding as we wrap this project up.

Crews finished up our role in the North Street DOC’s Tank replacement project. It came out very nice and the client was once again pleased with our work and performance. A huge thanks to our team members who put in many long days.

Crews continue on the Downtown Sidewalk project making very good progress.

Another team is working on an ongoing build site on a local lake and also working in Oakfield.

Crews have returned to work with our friends at CPM In Codyville on a bridge project also.

We have many other large projects starting over the next few weeks and also a crew working away at many smaller projects too.

Our teams have been working long hours each day for weeks without complaint. Mother Nature has yet to cooperate either.

One crew has been diligently working to complete the Market Square portion of the Houlton Sidewalk Project before the 4th of July. A couple days of painting if the weather cooperates and 16 ADA tactile strips and it is complete. Regardless it is substantially complete now and ready for the holiday. We are proud of this team. We also want to thank our paving partners, Steelstone for their commitment to our projects. Dirigo Slipform and Curbing have been wonderful partners also as we have done other projects with them as well. Buildings Etcetera did a great job on the onsite concrete work and Swallow Electric is working with us on pole light work. Over $3000 in gift certificate money has also been donated back into the downtown businesses.

Another team has also worked extremely long days to ensure our tank replacement project for Daigle Oil Company stays on track. Excavation, rock removal, stone backfill, gravel import, fine grading for concrete pads, paving, and more. Relationships are so very important. Communication and coordination are key. It has been a pleasure working with our friends at Swallow Electric, Buildings Etcetera and Steelstone. Monday we should complete the paving. Tuesday and Wednesday loaming, seed and mulch as well as final cleanup. The tank/pump installers will continue their work and with any luck mid to late next week business as usual should resume.

We also have work going on at Drews Lake, Nickerson Lake and Oakfield.

Thankful for clients who want our team on their sites and a team that represents our company extremely well.
