Subject: Important Update on Operations Due to Tropical Storm Francine
Dear Valued Customers,
We want to provide an important update regarding our current operations and the impending Tropical Storm Francine.
First and foremost, we extend our deepest appreciation to our customers for their continued trust and support. Our primary goal is to ensure that as many people as possible have standby power during this weather event, should the need arise.
After business hours today (September 10), our employees will be given time off to make necessary preparations for their families and properties. Accommodating our staff in this way will enable us to serve our customers more efficiently in the days ahead. We will have on-call personnel available tonight for emergency services, exclusively for our contract customers. Please note that emergency calls are defined as situations where power is out, and the generator is not running. If you require emergency assistance, please call our main number at 985-665-8236. We will resume normal operations tomorrow at 8 AM.
Since the storm was forecasted to affect the Gulf Coast, we have handled over 300 calls and responded to more than 150 customers, providing service and assistance in preparation for the storm.
To prepare for post-storm issues, we are currently stocking our inventory. As a result, spare parts, including maintenance items such as oil and filters, are not available for purchase at this time. However, we have inventory on hand for necessary maintenance and repairs following the event.
In line with our policies, customers with active maintenance contracts will receive priority access to parts needed for repairs, subject to availability. For customers without an active maintenance contract, parts will be ordered as needed, subject to any shipping delays, and service will be provided after our contract customers have been attended to.
For the safety of our staff, all operations will cease once wind speeds exceed 40 MPH, or if roadways are closed or blocked due to debris or local mandates. We will resume operations as soon as conditions permit.
We understand that weather events like this can cause anxiety, but we kindly ask for your patience and courtesy towards our staff. We are committed to serving everyone as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Finally, we would like to once again thank you for trusting us. We wish everyone the best of luck during this upcoming event. Please stay safe and follow any advisories issued by the National Hurricane Center, as well as local and state authorities. Remember, your family’s health and well-being are of the utmost importance.
Sincerely,
Doug Levron
