Finally finished this custom dining table for . Made from Douglas fir lumber and designed as a Japanese style chabudai table. This is my first commissioned piece of furniture so far and I had a blast making it! Learned quite a bit as well!

Put the dark walnut stain on the chabudai table tonight. I think it came out pretty good.

Workbench top dry fitting. Hard maple top and side rails with black walnut ends. The through mortise and tenon joints will have walnut wedges in final assembly.
