At PBI, we're committed to building more than great projects. We're committed to building stronger communities. 🏗️

As students prepare for a new school year, PBI was proud to partner with FabArc Steel Supply, Inc. at the local Rockdale VFW to donate 115 backpacks and 310 packages of dry-erase markers to students in Rockdale ISD. We appreciate FabArc for co-sponsoring this effort by providing half of the school supplies, and we're grateful for the opportunity to support the Rockdale community while working alongside Yates Construction on the T1 Energy project. 🎒

We believe investing in students is an investment in the future. Our hope is that these supplies help students start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to learn because today's classrooms are helping shape tomorrow's leaders. ✨

A special thank you to Rita Johnson and the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) in Rockdale for helping coordinate this donation and ensuring these supplies reached local students.

Giving back to our communities is something our team looks forward to every year, and we're grateful to once again support the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). 🎀

PBI team members recently volunteered alongside others to help pack close to 3,000 HOPE Kits for individuals facing breast cancer. These kits provide comfort, encouragement, and practical items during treatment, letting patients know they have the support of a caring community every step of the way.

We appreciate the opportunity to be part of an event that makes a meaningful difference for so many individuals and families. Thank you to everyone who helped make this year's HOPE Kit packing event a success. ✨

Congratulations to Carlos, our Ironworker, and Everardo, our Journeyman Ironworker, on being recognized as our latest Line of Fire (LOF) Honorees! 🎉

Carlos earned this recognition for his strong commitment to safety and his ability to recognize potential hazards. Through two consecutive LOF submissions, he identified unsafe conditions, took proactive steps to eliminate risks, and alerted field leadership so corrective actions could be taken to improve safety for everyone on site. Congratulations to Justino, David, Isidro, and Jose on earning this special recognition! Each received a gift card in appreciation of their efforts and also received a PBI Safety Hero shirt to recognize their achievement.

Justino was recognized for consistently setting the standard for safe rigging practices, maintaining an organized work area, and taking the time to mentor apprentices by sharing his knowledge and experience.

Please join us in celebrating two PBI team members who are marking work anniversaries this month! 🎉

Congrats to Paul, Ironworker Foreman, as he celebrates an incredible 30 years with PBI. Paul says it's the people that have made his time at PBI so rewarding. He appreciates the company's commitment to quality and safety, enjoys learning from those around him, and values the family atmosphere created by his coworkers and the company's leadership. His advice is to find a company that truly values its people, always make safety a priority, and never be afraid to ask questions and keep learning.

We're also celebrating Oliver, our Quality Control Manager, on his 3-year anniversary. Oliver enjoys being part of large projects and seeing them completed to a high standard of quality. His advice is simple: show up early, work hard, stay observant, and learn from the experienced people around you because there's always something new to learn. Outside of work, he enjoys flying his paramotor and spending time on his motorcycle. 🏍️

During his first week on site, David, an Iron Worker Apprentice, demonstrated exceptional awareness and accountability by recognizing a potential hazard and taking action to help protect a fellow team member. His understanding of PBI's PPE policies, along with his willingness to speak up and reinforce safe work practices early in his career, reflects the kind of courage and commitment to safety that helps keep our jobsites safe every day. 👷‍♂️

Isidro, a Journeyman Ironworker, was recognized for his strong attention to detail and proactive approach to safety after identifying an issue with critical fall protection equipment during a routine inspection. By taking immediate action and reporting the issue, Isidro helped prevent a potential incident and reinforced the importance of thorough inspections and personal responsibility.
