We’re excited to introduce Wayne, PBI’s new Director of Safety. 👷‍♂️

Wayne brings more than 40 years of experience in the construction industry, with a career that began at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and later led him to serve as a safety specialist and regional safety director for the U.S. Navy’s 6th Fleet. His passion for safety comes from real firsthand experiences early in his career that showed him how important proper protection and awareness are on the job.

In his role at PBI, Wayne is focused on helping prevent injuries and building a culture where safety goes beyond compliance. He’s committed to helping teams look out for one another and understand the “why” behind every safety practice.

Wayne encourages those entering the industry to ask questions, stay alert, and never take shortcuts when it comes to safety. For him, it’s about protecting not just yourself, but everyone around you. 🦺

Outside of work, Wayne enjoys staying active, spending time working in his yard, and cooking meals inspired by his roots in Hawaii. 🌺

We’re proud to have Wayne on our team and look forward to the impact he’ll make at PBI!

The PBI team recently spent time volunteering in Frisco with Children's Hunger Fund , helping serve and package food for children and families in need around the world. 🌍

This organization has been close to PBI President, Lance Beckner, through his personal volunteer efforts over the years, and we’re excited to grow that connection by making PBI a regular volunteer partner moving forward. 🤝

Children’s Hunger Fund is dedicated to delivering hope to suffering children by equipping local churches to serve their communities, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to support that mission.

Giving back is an important part of who we are at PBI, and we believe strong communities are built through service, compassion, and showing up where help is needed. 💙

At PBI, we’re proud to make a difference beyond the jobsite.

Happy Mother’s Day from PBI! 🌷

Today, we honor the mothers and mother figures who make a difference every day through their love, strength, patience, and support ❤️

Their guidance helps shape who we are, and all they do is felt in countless ways, both big and small. From the lessons they teach to the sacrifices they make, their impact is lasting and deeply appreciated ✨

Moms, thank you for everything you do.

PBI recently hosted an onsite training session led by Kim Mason with the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), bringing together employees from our Houston office, warehouse, and field teams for a hands-on learning session. 🏗️

The training covered essential life-saving skills such as CPR, basic first aid, and emergency response procedures. Training like this helps our team stay prepared, builds confidence, and reinforces the importance of knowing how to respond in critical moments. 🩺

It’s important to us that our team has the tools and training needed to stay safe and support one another when it matters most. Special thanks to Kim Mason for sharing her expertise with our team.

At PBI, creating a safer workplace starts with knowledge, preparation, and looking out for one another. 🤝

Our PBI Houston office team spent a morning volunteering with Bridging for Tomorrow 🤝, continuing our support of a local food pantry that serves families across the community.

From restocking shelves and assisting shoppers to assembling boxes, loading vehicles, and translating for non-English-speaking recipients, they helped keep operations running smoothly. The team supported approximately 8–10 grocery appointments, helping ensure families received fresh items, including dairy and meat products, along with other essentials.

Giving back is an important part of who we are, and we’re proud of our team for showing up and making a meaningful impact ❤️.

At PBI, we’re committed to supporting the communities we’re part of 🌱.

Big projects call for experienced teams, and this one was no exception! 💪 We’re taking a look back at our work on the Santee Cooper Power project in Cross, South Carolina, at the state’s largest power provider serving approximately two million people.

The PBI team played a key role in Units 3 and 4, completing coal silo and turbine structures totaling 10,000 tons. Our crew also set major process equipment including coal silos, deaerator tanks, overhead cranes, tripper towers, and heaters 🏗️.

Projects like this reflect the kind of complex, large-scale work our team is built for.

At PBI, we’re proud to bring the people and experience needed to get the job done right ⚙️.

PBI was honored to sponsor a table at the Waller Assistance & Restoration Ministries (WARM) Boots & Bling Gala and spend the evening supporting the community of Waller, Texas. 🤍

It was a great night celebrating the work WARM does for local individuals and families. Congratulations to their team on surpassing their fundraising goal of $75,000! 🎉 That incredible milestone will make a real difference for the people they serve.

We were glad to be part of an event that brought people together for such an important cause. 🤝

At PBI, we’re proud to invest in the communities we’re part of and support organizations making a difference.

The PBI Houston warehouse team was excited to spend time volunteering with Bridging for Tomorrow, a local food pantry we’ve been proud to support over the years 🤝.

Our team jumped right in wherever help was needed, helping unload 4–6 pallets of canned goods and fresh produce, restock shelves, and support distribution alongside other volunteers, serving more than 100 community members that day 📦.

Showing up for the communities we’re part of is important to us, and we’re proud to give back in ways that make a difference beyond the jobsite 💙.
