We get asked this more than youโd think:
โWhy TAMKO?โ
And more specifically, โWhy do you install Titan XT on so many of your roofs?โ
The answer isnโt because somebody handed us a brochure and told us what to sell.
Itโs because we install a lot of roofs, our crews work with these products every day, and weโve seen how they perform when the weather stops being theoretical.
Our installers genuinely like working with Titan XT. The shingle feels substantial, lays down well, seals well, has a reinforced nailing area, holds its granules well, looks good on the house, and gives us the kind of consistency we want when weโre putting our name behind a roof.
But one roof in Cypress probably explains our confidence better than any spec sheet ever could.
In 2024, we finished a Titan XT roof in a Cypress neighborhood. The very next day, a tornado went straight through the area. Roof after roof around that house took damage. The Titan XT roof we had just installed? NOT A SCRATCH.
Within days, neighbors were calling us asking two questions:
โWhat did you put on that house?โ
and
โHow do I get that on mine?โ
That sticks with you.
Weโve installed enough roofing systems, and filed enough manufacturer warranties to know that every product looks good sitting on a sample board. What matters to us is how the product installs, how the manufacturer supports it, and most importantly, how it performs once itโs protecting someoneโs home.

Our answer is pretty simple:
