I am not a mechanic, but I do know a little something something. This young man called me and said that he was having trouble with his car and a mechanic told him that he needed to call a locksmith. I explained to this young man that the key isn’t the issue but I’ll come by and check out his vehicle. Upon arrival and looking in his vehicle over the first thing I noticed was that his car had no power in that his car battery needed to be jumped so I told him I was gonna put the jumper cables on there and he was on the phone with a young girl and told her he would call her back. He hung up the phone because he wanted to learn how to jump his own vehicle and say that at 19 years old, no one has showed him how to jump a car so I showed him the positive and negative terminals and let him proceed to put the cables on. As I examine the vehicle further, I explained to him as I did before over the phone he does not have a key issue and that he has another issue going on with the car. Well, he took my advice and changed the starter and the battery and he is now back on the road with his car up and running…. It makes my business worth it when my customers follow back up with me and let me know that they are back on the road…
