"The Texas Department of State Health Services confirmed that mosquito samples collected by Brazoria County Mosquito Control on June 10, 2026, tested positive for West Nile Virus.

These traps were located at:
1. Cripple Creek & Wood Creek, Pearland
2. Magnolia Estates Blvd. & Pine Mill Court, Pearland
These areas were treated by truck spraying on June 11 and will be re-trapped next week, weather permitting."
