Please join us in welcoming Stevie Keller to Block Companies as our new Director of Business Development in our Dallas office! 🎉

Stevie brings extensive experience in multifamily development, real estate finance, and capital markets to the Block team. Most recently, he served as Managing Director at Alliance Residential, where he was directly involved in the capitalization and development of more than 2,500 multifamily units valued at over $600 million. Prior to Alliance, Stevie worked with CBRE’s Debt and Structured Finance team on multifamily, office, and industrial projects across the Southeast. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama, where he earned his B.B.A. in Finance with a concentration in Real Estate.

With deep family ties to Block Companies, Stevie has known the company and its values for many years. Joining the team brings together that personal connection with the experience he has built throughout his own career.

A big milestone calls for a celebration! 🎉

At the end of September, the Block Companies team celebrated the topping out of our One Westside project in Chattanooga, Tennessee. 🏗️

We marked the occasion by treating our team and crews to lunch and taking some time to recognize all the hard work that's gone into getting the project to this point. It's been a team effort from the start, and we're proud of what everyone has accomplished so far.

A big thank you to our project team, crews, and trade partners for everything you've put into One Westside. We appreciate all that you do and look forward to seeing the project through to completion!

LSU, we’re headed your way! 🎓

The Block Companies team will be at the LSU Career Fair on October 22, and we’re looking forward to meeting students interested in building a career in the construction industry.

Events like this give our team a chance to connect with students, share our experience, answer questions, and talk about the many career paths available in construction. Block Companies is proud to share that the Knowles-Rowland supportive housing project in Houston is officially complete! 🎉

Our team helped transform the former Knowles-Rowland Center for Youth into permanent supportive housing for individuals experiencing chronic homelessness. The completed development includes 31 housing units, including 16 with accessibility features for residents with mobility or sensory impairments.

Residents will also have access to services including mental health counseling, substance abuse treatment, case management, life skills training, and nutrition assistance to help support long-term stability and independence. ❤️

A big thank you to our project team, crews, and everyone who worked hard to bring this project to completion. We’re proud of what the team accomplished and grateful for the opportunity to be part of a project that will provide much-needed housing and support in the Houston community. 🏡

Block Companies team members PJ, Paul, and Hunter recently attended the University of Louisiana Monroe (ULM) Construction Management Career Fair, connecting with students who are preparing to begin their careers in the construction industry. 🎓🏗️

The event was a great opportunity to talk with students about the many career paths available in construction, answer questions, share some of our team’s experience, and introduce them to Block Companies.

The Block Companies team has been busy hitting the road and connecting with construction students at career fairs across the region! 🚗

Block Companies team members Chris, Sidney, and Jeyson recently attended the Construction Science Career Fair at the Texas A&M College of Architecture, where students had the opportunity to connect directly with industry professionals, learn about career opportunities, and explore potential internships and future employment.

One of those students was Parker (pictured with the team), who will graduate from Texas A&M in December and join the Block Companies team in February as a Project Engineer. We’re excited to have him coming on board! 🎉

Block Companies is excited to announce the opening of our new office in Dallas. 🎉

After several years of working on projects in Fort Worth, we’re proud to establish a home in North Texas and continue building relationships and pursuing new opportunities throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

With extensive experience in multifamily and commercial construction, Block Companies works with clients from preconstruction through project completion. Our team has delivered multifamily developments including affordable housing, market-rate communities, senior living, and build-to-rent, along with a variety of commercial projects. Our new Dallas office gives us an even stronger presence in the region as we continue putting that experience to work across North Texas.
