Good morning, Texas city area. We are currently undertaking a roof replacement project in your vicinity and are incorporating the new windstorm guidelines that became effective on April 1. Every roof, without exception, must have one of the following: double underlayment on the entire roof, an ice and water shield barrier covering the entire roof, or all decking seams must be taped.
