The studio has a passion to create, organize, problem solve and stimulate complex human environments. Almost 40 Years of Helping You Find Your Way: In 1983, Ferdinand Meyer V and Mary R. Initially they thought the acronym should be FMMG Design combining the two names. But proving cumbersome, the FMG acronym and name was decided by sharing the middle initial ‘M’. FMG is equally owned by each principal.

Permian Basin Behavioral Health Center in Midland, Texas, expands access to behavioral health care across West Texas with a purpose-built environment designed to support patients, families, visitors, and staff.

Working with HKS, FMG Design, Inc. developed a comprehensive patient-safe experiential graphics and integrated wayfinding program for the Behavioral Health Center and adjacent Medical Office Building. Color and image-coded wayfinding, large-scale supergraphics inspired by the parks and landscapes of Texas, colorful painted feature walls, and a themed donor recognition wall work together to create an intuitive and memorable sense of place.

Belmont Village Senior Living Aventura brings contemporary design, refined hospitality, and elevated senior living to South Florida. The newly completed 11-story community features 175 residences, panoramic water views, and resort-style amenities.

FMG Design developed a comprehensive experiential graphics program throughout the community, including the exterior, interior, and garage. The cohesive program helps residents, visitors, and staff navigate the property with clarity while reinforcing the distinctive Belmont Village brand experience.

We’re excited to share our latest healthcare project at Houston Methodist Cinco Ranch Comprehensive Care Center!

Serving the rapidly growing Cinco Ranch and Fulshear communities west of Houston, this new three-story outpatient facility brings primary care, specialty clinics, imaging, and rehabilitation together in a single, patient-focused environment. FMG Design developed a comprehensive exterior and interior experiential graphics and wayfinding program to support clear orientation, reinforce brand identity, and create a welcoming navigation experience throughout the facility.
