Duron Drywall - Houston Duron Drywall was in business from 1970-1987 Duron Drywall was founded by Paul S. Duron when he moved his family from San Antonio to Houston in 1970.

Duron Drywall performed tape & float (plaster) work in new homes and apartments, mainly in the north Houston area. The company was run by Paul S. Duron and his wife Elizabeth C. Duron from their home in north Houston. At its peak, in the mid to late 1970's, the company employed 4-6 independent contractors. During the "Oil Bust" in the mid 1980's, Houston construction slowed dramatically forcing t

he owner to search for work out-of-state and eventually shutting down the company prior to his death in 1988 from cancer.
