From bridge beam to Gulf reef—now that’s what we call a glow-up! 🌊🚧
Back in Fall 2025, Holes Companies was proud to be part of the Queen Isabella Causeway demolition project, led by GLO and Texas Parks and Wildlife. Recently, we joined our project partner for a pretty exciting milestone: removing the very last beam of the bridge.
That concrete may have left the roadway, but it’s headed for a new purpose—helping create a habitat for marine life in the Gulf. Not every demo job gets a second act this cool. 🐠💙

Back when mustaches were mighty, tans were earned the hard way, and concrete cutting looked like the toughest job in town. This bronze legend and his Tom Selleck-style mustache were out here making demolition look cool before it was trendy. Some things change (or do they???), but hard work, grit, and a little swagger never go out of style. 😎🚧
