Last week, our team gathered at the EPIC Center for one of Durotech’s Safety Stand-Down events, taking time to reinforce something that matters on every project and every jobsite: looking out for one another.

The event also included a flag raising ceremony and a BBQ lunch celebrating the subcontractors and trade partners who play such a critical role in the success of every project.

As Chris Bolian shared during the event: “Buildings are not built without the excellence of our subcontractors. A big part of our job is making sure they’re set up for success, supported in the field, and protected so they can return home safely to their families at the end of the day.”

Safety is never just about compliance. It’s about people. It’s about preparation, communication, accountability, and respect for every individual on site. We’re grateful to everyone who participated and continues helping build a culture where every person goes home safe.

We’re proud to partner with the Cy-Fair Fire Department as they break ground on Station 15, a critical investment in the continued growth of Northwest Harris County.

As one of the largest and most active fire departments in the country, CFFD responds to more than 40,000 emergency calls each year with a team of more than 550 dedicated professionals. Station 15 is designed to help close service gaps and improve response times in one of the region’s fastest-growing areas.
Strategically located near Settlers Village and FM 529, this station is the first of several planned projects that will support long-term growth and strengthen coverage across the community.

Durotech, alongside Martinez Architects, is committed to delivering a facility built for performance, durability, and the real-world demands of those who serve.

It’s an honor to build for those who show up first, when every second matters.

We had the opportunity to see the future workforce in action at Lamar CISD’s CTE Center.

Durotech joined leaders from local unions, industry organizations, and school districts for a behind-the-scenes look at how students are gaining real-world skills through hands-on training, certifications, and college credit opportunities.

More importantly, it sparked meaningful conversations about workforce development including how we connect students to careers, strengthen hiring pipelines, and build long-term partnerships.

It’s one thing to build facilities like this, but it’s something entirely different to see them actively preparing the next generation of skilled professionals.

Grateful to build for a community that’s investing in what’s next.

On site at the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Complex, Assistant Superintendent Edgar and Project Engineer Armin are helping bring this multi-building project to life.

The development includes an Investigations Building, a Property and Evidence Building, a Parking Garage, and a Community Center. It is a large project with many moving parts, and it takes steady leadership and teamwork in the field to keep everything moving forward.

We are proud of the work Edgar and Armin are doing and grateful for the skill and focus they bring to the job every day. This is what progress looks like.

Saturday Night Fever, anyone?

Last weekend, the Durotech team had a great time supporting the Lamar CISD "Men Who Cook" event. It was an evening full of energy, laughter, and community pride.

We’re especially proud to be partnering with Lamar CISD as we build their new CTE facility, a space designed to give students hands-on, real-world experience. The program will feature courses such as Cosmetology, Plumbing, Automotive, and Graphic Design, helping students develop practical skills they can carry into their futures.

Projects like this are about more than walls and steel. They’re about creating opportunities and opening doors for the next generation.

Thank you to everyone who made the night such a success! We’re grateful to be part of a community that invests in its students and knows how to celebrate in style.

Needless to say, we had a ball. 😉🪩

A proud milestone for the new Clements High School! The Topping Out Ceremony, held on Dec. 9, marked the final beam of steel being placed—a key step forward in construction. Durotech is honored to continue bringing this state-of-the-art campus to life for Fort Bend ISD.

We’re grateful to our partners, the FBISD team, Group, community leaders, and everyone supporting Bond 2023. We look forward to advancing construction on the future home of the Clements Rangers—opening for students in the 2027–2028 school year. 🏗️✨
