We had a tee-rific time as a Platinum Hole Sponsor at the 32nd Annual IEC Texas Gulf Coast Golf Tournament earlier this week! 🏌️‍♂️

It was a great day to connect with industry partners and talk about how our precast solutions can support the electrical industry. We were also proud to sponsor a team from Walker Engineering, Inc., who brought their A-game to the course! ⛳

There’s more beneath an airport runway than meets the eye. ✈️

Our Dallas/Fort Worth plant recently completed a project producing Junction Can Plazas (JCPs). The project called for 22 4-can units and 25 6-can units, custom designed to meet our clients’ needs.

JCPs are precast concrete structures installed alongside ductbank systems for airport runways and taxiways. They house and organize the electrical infrastructure that powers critical runway lights and directional signs. The openings throughout each JCP allow airfield circuits to be separated or quickly rerouted within duct bank systems, helping deliver power to the lighting and signage pilots rely on. 👨‍✈️👩‍✈️

Our foam-filled precast design also reduces the overall weight of the JCPs, making them easier to handle and install quickly and efficiently. All while maintaining the durability needed for critical airport infrastructure.

We're proud to announce the launch of the Locke Solutions Scholarship in partnership with the Texas A&M Foundation.

Beginning this year, an annual $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate student from the Zachry Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Texas A&M University to help with the cost of books, tuition, and other educational expenses. 📚

At Locke, we're committed to supporting the future workforce by helping students build a strong foundation in their careers. 🎓
