A condenser coil replacement we completed for a customer in Katy after discovering a refrigerant leak during a routine inspection.

The timing couldn't have been better—the system's manufacturer warranty expires in just **2 months**. Because the unit was still under warranty, the customer avoided paying for a condenser coil that costs **around $5,000** from Carrier.

The leak was found during a **$125 preventative maintenance inspection**, allowing us to address the issue before it turned into a much more expensive repair.

Routine inspections aren't just about keeping your A/C running efficiently—they can save you thousands of dollars by catching problems while your equipment is still covered under warranty.

Not all HVAC installations are created equal.

This is exactly why choosing a trusted HVAC contractor matters.

This customer had brand-new air conditioning systems installed in **June 2020**. Unfortunately, the smaller system failed in January, and yesterday one of the larger systems quit working as well.

The customer called us for a second opinion and diagnosis.

**The result? Both systems had failed compressors.**

To make matters worse, the original installer never registered the equipment with the manufacturer. Because of that, the customer only qualified for the **standard 5-year parts warranty** instead of the **10-year manufacturer warranty** that was available.

That one missed step ended up costing the customer thousands of dollars.

Instead of simply paying for labor to replace the compressors under warranty, the customer was left with the choice of purchasing new compressors or replacing the outdoor condenser units entirely.

They chose to have us install new condensers.
