🐾 HAPPY NATIONAL DOG DAY! 🐾

Around here, Wheel isn’t just the shop dog — he’s one of the crew. 💪🐶

This boy has been by my side since he was a pup, and he doesn’t believe in taking days off. From riding along while we’re running dozers and excavators to hanging around while the chainsaws are screaming… Wheel is always right there. 🌳🚜🪚

He’s probably got more equipment hours than some operators. 😂

From a little pup following me everywhere to becoming my right-hand man on every jobsite, Wheel has been there through it all.

Rain, shine, long days, early mornings — this dog doesn’t miss work.

Happy National Dog Day to my boy Wheel. 🐾💚

The only employee who never complains about overtime… as long as the treats keep coming. 😂

😂 EVERY TREE GUY HAS HEARD THESE FAMOUS LAST WORDS…

“Don’t worry about hauling the wood. Just leave it here. I’ll cut it up and split it myself.”

Alright, boss. You got it. 😂🫡

At Krause Tree & Excavation, we’ve learned there are usually three stages to this decision:

Stage 1 — Confidence:
“Oh yeah, leave ALL of it. I heat with wood. I’ll have that cleaned up in no time.”

Stage 2 — Reality:
We finish taking down the tree, and suddenly there’s a pile of logs in the yard big enough to have its own ZIP code.

The homeowner walks outside…

Looks at the logs. 👀
Looks at his little homeowner saw. 🪚
Looks back at the logs. 🪵🪵🪵🪵🪵

You can almost hear the confidence leaving his body. 😂

Stage 3 — Negotiation:
“So uhhh… what would you guys charge to just take all this with you?”

🤣🤣🤣

Sir, 20 minutes ago you were Paul Bunyan. What happened?!

We get it though. A standing tree never looks like that much wood until it’s laying on the ground in 10-foot logs and you realize you just volunteered yourself for every Saturday between now and deer season. 😂

Moral of the story:

If you want the firewood, we’ll gladly leave it.

If you want it hauled away, we’ll gladly handle that too.

And if you change your mind after seeing the pile…

We promise to only laugh a little. 😂🌲
