Run through our 5-Minute DIY Checklist before calling in the pros:

The Thermostat: Check that it’s set to ❄️ Cool and Fan Auto, with the temp dialed at least 3 degrees below the room's current temperature. Dim screen? Toss in some fresh batteries!

The Air Filter: A choked filter suffocates your system. If it’s been more than 60–90 days, swap it out. 🔄

The Outdoor Unit: Head outside and check your condenser. Clear away any grass clippings, leaves, or debris. (Michigan tip: Watch out for that late-spring cottonwood—it wraps around units like a lint trap! 🪵)
