Topsoil is raked in, everything is cleaned up, and WOW… that’s honestly all I can say.

In less than three days, our team completely transformed this space at Black Star Farms into a beautiful new seating area just in time to kick off the season TOMORROW.

From the custom Black Star logo inlay to the finishing details, the crew absolutely crushed this project — even with heavy rain cutting our work days short. The amount of pride these guys put into their work shows in every square foot of this patio.

Projects like this are exactly why we love what we do. To be trusted by one of our favorite wineries after visiting here with friends and family for nearly 17 years makes this one extra special for us.

Now it’s time for guests to sit back, enjoy the view, sip some wine, and make memories in a space our team was proud to build. 🍷

For almost 17 years, Black Star Farms has been one of our absolute favorite places to visit with friends and family, so when they called and said they wanted to move forward with this project, we were beyond excited.

Just 2 1/2 days ago, this area was completely different — and now look at it. Huge credit to our crew for pulling this off in less than THREE days, especially with the first two days being cut short from heavy rain. That kind of dedication, work ethic, and attention to detail is exactly why I say all the time that we have the best team around.

And that custom Black Star logo inlay the guys created? Absolutely incredible. The craftsmanship and precision they put into it turned this project into something truly special.

Every week I post photos of what our team accomplishes, and this project is another perfect example of why we take so much pride in what we do.

BIG project this week!!!!! 🍷🔥

After 17 years of coming up to Traverse City and visiting some of the most beautiful wineries in Michigan, we were honored to be asked to design and install a large brick paver patio and staircase expansion at one of our absolute favorites — Black Star Farms!!!!

The goal of this project is to create a much larger and more functional outdoor gathering space where guests can relax, enjoy the views, and sip some incredible wines overlooking Northern Michigan wine country.

This is exactly the type of project we LOVE doing:✔️ Large scale outdoor entertainment spaces✔️ Custom paver patios✔️ Elevation changes and stair systems✔️ Commercial-quality hardscape installations✔️ Fast turnaround with our in-house crew

We started with a blank slate and by Wednesday afternoon this entire area will be completely transformed into a beautiful new outdoor space for winery guests to enjoy for years to come.

Started on this Macomb project Monday morning and would’ve had it wrapped up yesterday if Mother Nature didn’t decide to rain AGAIN ☔️… but nonetheless, she was finished up by noon today.

This was for a repeat client who called us back, and we truly appreciate the continued trust in our team. We hope they’re thrilled with the final result!

That’s the thing about working with a company that’s been family owned and operated for 25 years — when clients call you back for another project, it means you did something right the first time.

Now it’s on to the next lucky homeowner so we can create another backyard oasis 💪🏽🏡

That’s a wrap!!!!! Hands down the hardest patio install we’ve ever done but my guys sucked it up and nailed it!!!!! We do patios this size in 2-3 days all summer long. This one - not so much lol. Here’s a video after the poly sand was swept in on our way out to the next lucky homeowner!!!!!
