Our Michigan Safe Truck Driver of the Month for April was Roanan Stellberger. He is employed by San Marino Excavating and has 3 years of truck driving experience. Roanan is a phenomenal employee and a vital asset to the San Marino team. While he primarily operates a gravel train hauling aggregate, he is a versatile driver who also operates roll-off trucks, assists in the shop during downtime, and has even stepped out into the field crew a time or two. He is a top choice for mentoring new drivers because he is punctual, careful, professional, and knowledgeable. Roanan prioritizes safety protocols and diligently maintains all equipment. He proactively contacts dispatch regarding any concerns and documents issues on his daily inspection sheets. Whether navigating wide-open roads or tight subdivisions, Roanan remains mindful of every load and delivery.
Additionally, beyond being an exceptional driver, Roanan is an outstanding representative for his employer at community events, including "touch-a-truck", various holiday celebrations and hiring events.
