Gunite day in Bristol, RI! 💪

This 16’ × 32’ rectangular pool is officially taking shape with a steel-reinforced gunite shell built for long-lasting strength.

Once complete, it will feature a quartz finish, full-length cathedral steps, a 6’ deep-end bench, an automatic cover, color LED lighting, a saltwater system, and a gas heater.

One major milestone completed, with more pool progress still to come!

A complete backyard transformation in Weymouth, MA. ☀️

This outdoor space features a 420 SF fiberglass pool surrounded by 776 SF of stamped concrete in an Ashlar pattern.

The project also includes European Blend stonework with Venetian Bluestone caps, and a custom composite deck with premium railings.

Thoughtfully designed by Dex and built with the same attention to detail, this backyard is made to last for decades.

A quality paved surface starts long before the final layer of asphalt is installed.

At Waterside Crossing in Windsor, CT, our commercial construction team recently completed the asphalt binder course within a parking area as part of the ongoing redevelopment with Brady Sullivan Properties LLC.

So, what is an asphalt binder—and why does it matter?

The binder course is the structural layer of an asphalt pavement system. Installed between the prepared base and the final surface course, it provides strength, stability, and load distribution while creating a properly prepared foundation for the finished pavement.

It’s an important step that can have a significant impact on the long-term performance of the finished parking lot. Quality paving isn't simply about what you see on the surface—it starts with the layers underneath.

Waterside Crossing is transforming a former office property into a new residential community, and Dex by Terra is proud to be contributing to the redevelopment through both site construction and landscape architectural design.

Our scope on this project includes:

The centerpiece of this Bolton, MA design-build project is a custom 18’ × 36’ freeform gunite pool, featuring an 8’ tanning shelf, cathedral stairs, and Venetian Bluestone coping.
The space was completed with 1,767 SF of Unilock pavers, a dedicated fire pit patio, spa pad, and a custom-built wood deck — all designed to feel like one seamless environment.

Built for swimming, entertaining, relaxing, and everything in between.
