🚨 Water Restriction Update 🚨

As of today, May 28, the City of Wyoming’s odd/even outdoor water restrictions have officially been lifted for residents and businesses connected to the City water system, including Georgetown Township. The repairs to the intake line were completed ahead of schedule and both transmission mains are back in service. 👏

While restrictions are no longer mandatory, Georgetown Township is still encouraging residents to continue practicing smart watering habits when possible to help conserve water, reduce stress on the shared water system, and protect long-term water sustainability. 💧

Here are a few easy ways to help:
• Continue watering on an odd/even schedule when possible
• Water early in the morning to reduce evaporation
• Avoid overwatering and runoff
• Make sure your irrigation system is adjusted properly for the season
• Smart Wi-Fi controllers can automatically prevent watering when rain is approaching
• Wireless rain sensors stop irrigation systems from running after rainfall is detected
