DeWeerd & Van D**e, Inc. is seeking an experienced apprentice or journey electrician. We are an electrical and plumbing contractor providing services for residential and light commercial new construction, remodeling, and service calls.

Ideal candidate would have experience in residential new construction and remodeling, would be licensed as an apprentice or Journey electrician in the state of Michigan, and would possess strong leadership skills capable of running a jobsite crew as well as working unsupervised. A keen attention to detail, strong leadership skills, honesty, integrity, and a teamwork mindset are all qualities we look for in our team members.

Pay is competitive and negotiable depending on experience. We offer excellent medical/prescription insurance with very minimal weekly cost to employees. Company shirts and tool allowances are included. Team member would be required to have their own hand tools, but all other tools/materials would be provided.

Over at the Quincy St. project, the framers had the wall prepped for us so we put up this 320 amp meter socket with Generac Automatic transfer switch. We always try to get the electrical service installed as soon as possible so the power company can connect and the other trades can use the power!

Some really neat lighted shelves in this customers master closet! Wrapped this up today and it sure looks sweet! Our customers dreams become reality with coordination between the builder, trim carpenter, and us!
