Living out these principles is one of the greatest privileges we have as a company.

I am grateful to have just returned from Kajiado, Kenya, where I had the opportunity to serve alongside an incredible team from Crossroads Fellowship Church.

Together, we built a new church for the Maasai people in the Eluai community—a place where believers can gather, worship, disciple others, and continue growing God’s Kingdom for generations to come.

A special thank you to Pastor Michael Allard for faithfully carrying forward the vision of Crossroads Fellowship: “Finding Life and Building Futures.” His leadership and the dedication of our entire team made this mission possible.

While we were blessed to help construct a building, the true work was far greater than bricks and steel. Relationships were formed, lives were impacted, faith was strengthened, and God was glorified. I can confidently say that every member of our team returned home changed by this experience.

We are humbled to have a company that strives to honor Christ not only in the work we do every day, but also through serving others around the world.

Demo Day at Woodridge Baptist Church!! Today marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.

For years, this building faithfully served as a place of worship, fellowship, and countless memories. While it's difficult to say goodbye to a space with so much history, we're honored to help make way for the next phase of its story.

Soon, this site will become a place where the community can gather, compete, grow, and build new memories for generations to come.

Here's to honoring the past while building for the future.

We are proud to announce the commencement of a second project for Woodridge Baptist Church! We were honored to build their 1,200 seat sanctuary 20 years ago and were told back then that we would be their preferred contractor for any future projects, we just didn't know that it was going to be 20 years later - LOL! Regardless, we are proud to partner once again with Woodridge Baptist Church to construct this double gymnasium so that they can make a greater impact on the Kingwood Community! Woodridge is investing into the lives of the next generation and impacting souls for the Kingdom of God!

Today marks the 82nd anniversary of D-Day!

Today, we celebrated the lives and legacy of an extraordinary couple, Clarence and Deborah Shaw.

For decades, Clarence faithfully served the Lord by helping churches create spaces where people could gather, worship, and hear the Gospel. Through his work designing worship facilities, he played a meaningful role in expanding God's Kingdom and supporting the mission of countless churches.

MACO was blessed to work alongside Clarence on several church projects over the past 20 years, and it was truly an honor to know him. His impact will continue to be felt for generations through the churches he helped build and the lives those ministries will touch.

While we will miss Clarence dearly, we rejoice in knowing that he is now in the presence of the Lord. Until the day we are reunited in Heaven, we will continue carrying out God's work here on Earth, inspired by his example of faithful service.

Our thoughts and prayers remain with the Shaw family as we remember and celebrate two lives well lived.

🚨 WARNING: What is Mold Really Doing to Your Concrete? 🚨

​Property owners, you need to see this comparison from a recent commercial project we tackled! We put together this Before /After photo to prove a vital point about concrete maintenance.

​Take a good look at the AFTER photo. 🧐

You see that stark vertical line splitting the smooth area from the rough, rock-filled area (the exposed aggregate)?

​❌ That isn’t a difference in our cleaning method.
✅ That is evidence of chemical erosion caused by neglected mold.

​Here is the science behind the image attached photo.

​Mold, algae, and mildew are not just "sitting" on your concrete. They are living organisms that require nutrients. They produce and secrete organic acids to break down and feed on the minerals in the concrete's smooth top coat (the 'cream coat'). This process is called biodeterioration.

​Over time, these acids physically dissolve the binder holding the smooth surface together. When we clean the organic growth away, the damaged cream coat comes right off, permanently exposing the underlying aggregate and making the concrete rough and porous.

​The before photo shows the destructive black cover. Standard text is insufficient to describe how quickly this cover can degrade the surface. In fact, if you look closely at the before panel, you can already see small 'white' pits forming where the concrete surface is disintegrating under the black layer.

​The Takeaway:
Routine pressure washing and soft washing are not just about curb appeal or aesthetics. They are critical, money-saving maintenance. Cleaning concrete stops this acidic breakdown in its tracks before the damage becomes structural or deepens. A clean property isn't just a pretty property—it's a preserved property!
