Many women don't consider a career in the trades simply because they never see it presented as an option.
That's the visibility gap.
When girls and young women see tradeswomen succeeding as plumbers, electricians, welders, HVAC technicians, and more, it becomes easier to picture themselves in those roles too. Representation helps expand what's possible.
That's one reason we're passionate about sharing stories, resources, and information about women in the trades. The more visible these careers become, the more women can make informed decisions about whether a trade career is right for them.
You can't explore an opportunity you don't know exists. 💙
