🧊🥶 YOUR AC ISN’T SUPPOSED TO MAKE ICE!
Your AC might be working overtime… and somehow your solution is getting colder and colder. ❄️😂
If you see ice on your indoor coil or refrigerant lines, don’t assume your AC is just “working really well.”
🚨 A frozen coil can be caused by:
❄️ A dirty/clogged air filter
💨 Poor airflow
🧊 Low refrigerant
🛠️ A dirty evaporator coil
⚡ Blower or other mechanical problems
And here’s the important part:
Turning the thermostat colder is NOT going to fix it. 😅
In fact, continuing to run an AC with a frozen coil can potentially turn a small problem into a much bigger repair.
👉 If you find ice on your AC, turn the system off and let it thaw. Then have a professional diagnose WHY it froze in the first place.
Because your AC should be making cold air… not an indoor glacier. 😂🧊
