Welcome to January 2024. New Year To Do List...

If you have any questions about any of the following, we're a phone call away.

*Check your smoke/Co2 detectors. Change the battery and check the date stamp on the back. Detectors have a 10 year life. Replace the round part with a new head, available at your local hardware store.

*Change your furnace filter if you haven't done so this season.

*Clean your dryer lint duct, possibly by a professional all the way to the outside. Lint is a fire hazard.

*Flip all the breakers in your electrical panel off and on, to keep them from possibly sticking. Then reset every gosh darn clock in the house.

*Consider cleaning your ductwork throughout the house.

*Check the gauge on any fire extinguishers to ensure a good charge.

*pour a cup of water in your basement floor drains or any unused drains with water to prevent sewer gas from backing up.

Some types of lumber are selling at all time highs, adding tens of thousands of dollars to the price of a new home and home projects. The pandemic has caused supply disruptions and heightened demand.
