We get a lot of questions about our tie mill debarker — especially why it has two heads. The head you see working here is used for flare reduction, removing the limb knots and natural flare at the base of the log before debarking. This helps the machine create a smoother, more even shave across the entire log. Pretty cool to watch in action!
