This is a small room we added on a house on Lake Holiday in Sandwich w/ a deck across the back of the residence to sit out with beautiful viewsof the lake. The owner removed the existing rotten deck, then we were hired to replace ledger, deck, and the addition. New siding by RB Exteriors completed this home for the finishing touches.

Throwback Thursday!
Here is some custom millwork the guys installed showing off their skills a few years back in a 14,000 SF home in Barrington. The room with the large vault is adjacent to the Kitchen has a pizza oven in the fireplace. Barrel ceilings down the Hallway, Coffered ceiling in the Den, and panel box mouldings in the Office were a couple other unique features of the work we completed...a good job to have over the dead of winter and out of the weather!

Flashback Friday...
Finally got caught up have some time to post some pics after a busy year. This is a deck we rebuilt this summer with before and after shots...finally after a 3 month wait for the popular Trex Rocky Harbor material and Westbury railing kits. The good news was the homeowners still were able to enjoy their deck for 1/2 the summer and the fall season!

We get at least one of these calls a year but usually when the snow is flying. USPS in Montgomery today we had to do a temp enclosure for rebuild to begin from car damage to the building. An older gentleman was instructed by his wife to run some letters to the post office...evidently he tried to run them inside with the car! Pulling in to a parking space with flip flops sliding off and put the pedal to the metal...To top that off it was his wife's SUV and when she showed up she gave him an earful according to the Post Master. All set for now, have to wait for brick and block to get repaired. At that point will will rebuild the interior. The good new was no one was injured.

The guys started demo last week on a kitchen downtown Chicago in a High-Rise 37th floor. Traffic is not fun but can't complain about the views they have during the day. Now waiting on the building to get their trades in to move a gas line that is tied in to 10 floors...that shouldn't take long.
