FROM POWDER ROOM TO ADA COMPLIANT BATHROOM

At RK Builders Group,our work is about more than construction-it’s about taking care of the people who trusts us with their home.

One of our long time clients recently experienced a sudden medical emergency that left him paralyzed from the waist down. When his with called us, she had one very important request: convert their hall powder room into a fully ADA accessible bathroom so her Husband could use it independently when he came home from the hospital.

Her goal was clear-make the space wheelchair accessible while preserving the quaint character of their home and have it completed before he came home.

We were honored to step in and make that happen

Removed the existing entry door and reconfigured the framing to install a wider door way so he could easily enter with his wheelchair

Removed the existing vanity which reviled the original flooring

Repaired and wove in the new matching flooring

Reworked the plumbing in the wall to install a freestanding wall mounted sink for wheelchair clearence

Installed an ADA compliant comfort height toilet with bidet

Added a new electrical outlet to power the new bidet

Installed a secure Grap bar to insure stability and safty

A big shout out to our plumber, Joe, with Copperline Plumbing. We appreciate them, they always get the job done, and done on time.

The result is a fully ADA compliant bathroom that allowed him to bring his electric wheelchair inside,close the door,and maintain his privacy,independence,and dignity-all while blending beautify with the existing style of their home.

🫧Bathroom Facelift Complete🫧

What a transformation! This bathroom got a full refresh and feels brand new from top to bottom! This bathroom is proof you don’t always need a full gut renovation to completely transform a space-sometimes a well-planned facelift makes all the difference! Check it out below!📸

🛁We updated all the tile, giving the space a clean, modern look, and built a custom shower base with a built-in shaving step for both function and comfort. To open things up, we removed the bypass shower door and installed a framless single hinge door with stationary glass panels and removed the center column creating a much more spacious and in inviting shower.🛀

🫧The shower now features custom fixtures for a sleek, high-end finish, and we reglazed the tub to restore it to like-new condition without the cost of replacement. We also resurfaced the vanity, installed new light fixtures, and upgraded all the bathroom hardware and fixtures to tie everything together beautifully. 🫧

This one-of-a-kind pocket door was custom crafted using multiple wood species and brass inlays, paired with soft open and soft close hardware for effortless movement. Functional art, built to be felt as much as seen.🏘️

✨DREAM KITCHEN REVEAL✨

This project was all about bringing our clients’ vision back to life-the dream kitchen they had to leave behind, thoughtfully recreated with elevated details and modern function.

We installed deeper wall cabinets with full pull-out drawers for maximum storage, topped them off with elegant crown molding, and finished the space with sleek quartz countertops. A deep stainless steel sink adds everyday practicality, while the recessed microwave/oven combo built into the cabinetry keeps the look clean and seamless.

The heart of the space is a huge island with plenty of seating, perfect for entertaining and family gatherings, paired with a gas cooktop for serious cooking. We also created a custom space for a new modern hood vent with the expert assistance from Com24 Heating & Air Conditioning- Home Services Provider-big thanks to them for helping make this kitchen both beautiful and functional. Also thank you R.C. Electrical Services for running all wiring, installing new circuits to bring the appliances to life.

We gave this room a new facelift. Whitewashed the fireplace removed carpeting and installed a Red Oak tongue & grooved flooring with a Tiete Rosewood boarder & stairs. A brighter coat of paint on the walls giving this room a warm and inviting place to enjoy

This Kitchen remodel turned out Awesome!

We removed all greenfied and old wiring. Installed conduit with new wiring.
Added under cabinet LED lighting on a dimmer.
Added 2 20 amp circuits so there will be no problems of overloading.
All new deices.

R.K. Builders Group were able to update there kitchen to the custmers liking. Great job guys!
