Hey y'all! Curtis here from Tyson Plumbing. Well I guess we're in for some pretty historic low temps so I just wanted to send out some friendly plumbing advice to everyone ahead of this arctic blast! So if it does get down in low teens to single digits, obviously none of these houses here are prepared for these temps the way there built so the best thing to do is just turn off the water to the house and open all faucets inside and out so if any trapped water freezes then the pressure of expansion will be able to release and neutralize. Do not turn the water back on until the temps are above freezing. Heat lamps are excellent for attic and under houses if you can find them.
