Sorry I fell behind on posting last week. We've been very busy with some emergency removals and a large project where we took out 80 trees all within striking distance of a large home. My boys have worked tirelessly all week and we are super proud of them. Jake and Airron are the heartbeat of this company. Been with me since the beginning of the days when we started over the top. They've worked their butts off the past couple weeks. 🙏👏👏👏

We have been through extensive classes and training for how to safely remove trees from structures without causing further damage. Also making sure you don't get screwed by your insurance company after they feed you lies about coverage of trees. We have a 100% succes rate of getting paid for covered wind damage by insurance companies when the coverage is applicable. We know exactly what is covered and what isn't and we can help educate you and deal with the insurance company on your behalf to take the stress off your shoulders. This ash tree was a victim of the emerald ash borer 😭 it was a beautiful large mature ash tree that this family built a huge majestic tree house around then it rapidly took a decline. When you start seeing decline in your ash tree its probably too late. If you have an ash tree you need to call an arborist such as us or any other isa certified arborist to come inspect your tree asap. Unfortunately this one was too far gone and we had to remove it. For safety we used a crane to bring it down to just above the tree house roof so they can continue to enjoy their tree house for a while longer.

Springtime is a very important time for trees! When you prune a tree in early spring, you’re not only shaping it, you’re also activating its internal hormone system.

"Trees have hormones?"

Yes! Trees use a hormone called auxin, which flows from the canopy downward. This hormone tells the lower buds when to grow. Pruning actually helps the tree remove this hormone and promote growth to its lower buds. This results in a burst of new growth exactly where you cut

In spring, trees are just coming out of dormancy, Their energy reserves (stored sugars) are fully loaded, so when you prune the tree responds aggressively and you get stronger, more directed growth, instead of weak and random shoots. This is why most arborists and orchards prune This time of year.
