Dear Jacob's Ladder Family.....(this is Holly, David's wife) I apologize for not getting this information out to you sooner, it's been a busy and upsetting time for our family.

On April 23 my dad passed away. My mom was diagnosed with cancer the week following Dads funeral and Mom passed away on July 8th. On May 23 David had a seizure and was flown from Macon to Boone hospital where scans showed he has a very large aggressive Glioblastoma brain tumor. David had a biopsy and the following day suffered a seizure that lasted over 2 hours and left him without use of his left arm and very little use of his left leg along with vision and memory issues. David received 15 radiation treatments and spent 32 days in the hospital. He was able to come home on June 24 and is receiving full time care from myself and our children with Hospice support.

The future of Jacob's Ladder is uncertain at this time. I apologize to those of you who have work scheduled for this summer. Our son Ben has the knowledge and the skills, just trying to work out how much time he has. So please reach out to us if you have work scheduled. We are trying to understand David's system, but that hasn't been easy either LOL

Our friend David of Jacob's Ladder Cemetery Restoration Specialists, came out today to do a final walk through of the cemetery. We are excited to announce that they will begin work in June!
