CSA was honored to celebrate another milestone at the Madison Street Tower expansion earlier this week. The topping-out ceremony was held on Wednesday morning with many members of the project team present. Topping-out is a tradition that marks the end of vertical construction by lifting the last beam into place with a crane. Work will now begin on the exterior façade and interior spaces. We look forward to seeing more of our design come to life in these next stages!

CSA would like to welcome Caroline Dooling as the newest addition to our interior design team. After interning with CSA last winter, Caroline is now stepping into a full-time role with our firm. Caroline is a recent graduate of Mississippi College, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design.

Caroline is passionate about design because it gives her the opportunity to blend functionality with creativity - crafting spaces that are both beautiful and impactful for clients. We are excited to see her talent and fresh perspective. Welcome to the team, Caroline!

Chapman Sisson Architects is excited to welcome Chris Nail as our new Healthcare Team Lead. Joining us from Dallas, Texas, Chris holds a Bachelor’s and Master's in Healthcare Architecture from Texas Tech University and has 22 years of experience in healthcare design.

🌟Project Spotlight🌟

In August 2011, Goldsmith Schiffman Elementary opened its doors to students in a 123,000 sq ft school designed by CSA. Nestled near a nature preserve, the design intended to bring the outdoors in—with natural materials, calming tones, and playful details throughout 🌿

As the community of Owens Cross Roads continues to grow, we were honored to design a new two-story classroom addition. Inspired by the school’s original nature theme, the addition features acoustic murals, earthy corridor flooring, and cozy reading nooks—including one with a whimsical tree and bench by the window that's perfect for story time or a quiet moment with a book 🌳📚

CSA was excited to host a group of 4th year architecture students from Auburn University at our office this week.
During their visit, the students had the opportunity to connect with several of our architects, ask questions, and gain insight into life at a professional design firm. We always enjoy spending time with future architects and sharing what we’ve learned along the way!
