Repurposed, defunct water feature turned cactus planter!🌵
I discovered there was a leak underneath the water feature and the choices were to rebuild, which would have been very expensive, or repurpose! ♻️
The homeowner chose to repurpose and it turned out great!

Making the most of the space you have is always an exercise in creativity.

Parade of Gardens Southern Utah is your chance to see what some of your most creative neighbors are doing to make their yards beautiful and resilient. This three-day event begins Friday, September 20th and your ticket allows you to visit at your own convenience throughout the weekend.

SOUND ON! You have to hear the perfect bubbling up of the water. It sounds like a babbling brook in your backyard. I created this water feature for a client and it turned out really cool!
I had a friend drill holes into the biggest featured rocks in the center, and then found rocks to accompany and surround the center boulders. These rocks are all different and unique colors adding contrast and interest to the water feature.
The water feature is in a courtyard where I did flagstone around it a paver walkway leading back to it.

You know Fall is coming in Southern Utah when the Texas Rangers start going off!!!!🤩
Look at these beauties! I took these photos just around our neighborhood, and one in our yard called Lynn’s Legacy ( the first picture), which is my favorite. The darker purple Ranger variety is called Heavenly Cloud ☁️
What lovely names for lovely plants! 🌱

Oh boy, look out folks. 🥵🔥 Keep yourselves safe and hydrated while working outdoors. Try to only the essentials during early hours of the morn’ so as not to get heat stroke. Wear protective clothing and then go in!
