Our most recent project was an extensive one, but you don't pass up the chance to do something this cool when you get it. We transformed a basement bedroom into a custom bathroom, creating a bedroom suite space for the remaining bedroom. Lots of custom tailored details were included to give our client exactly what she was looking for. We installed a sewer basin and pump, allowing all of the plumbing to be run underground to achieve a zero clearance entry to the custom 40x72 tile shower. The shower blends into custom tile surround with a 60 inch deep soaking tub . Utilizing some space from the mechanical area next to the bathroom, we created an alcove for a 72" double vanity with a granite top, matching the granite tile we installed for the tub surround top, and included a fireplace insert and television over the tub. New hex tile was installed on the floors, as well as tile wainscoting with trim tile and custom niches. A custom toilet was installed, and we combined the original closet spaces to create a new walk-in closet for the bedroom. We then proceeded to remove all of the carpet in the basement, and much of the upstairs, and installed 1400 sq ft of new LVP flooring. Special thanks goes to Jake Schmidt electric for all of the custom lighting and accessories, Sturgeon Glass for the shower glass, and F&A flooring for supplying the LVP. We are very pleased with the final result of this project, and are thankful for the opportunity to create this incredible space for a loyal repeat client.
