Here’s our rapid plant that can be transported via semi and set up on or near a job site within 1-3 days.
As you can see, depending on the scope of work, it takes up minimal space and a majority of the area is made up of aggregate.
The plant has a portland tank next to it, along with a water source.
A worker will use a payloader to load the mixed aggregate onto the plant, at the same time; portland powder is gravity fed through the chute and mixed with the aggregate/water, simultaneously creating your job site’s custom concrete mix.
The plants belt conveyor will then off load the material onto a dump truck, that will then transport the material to the job site.
Depending on our job site location, whither it be central Nebraska or northwestern Iowa, or Eastern Colorado to name a few, we source local aggregates as close to the job site location as possible.
This is done to create cost saving measures to the client, along with knowing what raw materials are available in that area/location. For example, one location may have an influx of limestone, while another area may have limited limestone, but an influx of pea gravel.
Whatever local aggregates are at or near the job site, are then transported to a testing services lab in Des Moines, and a member of our staff makes a custom mix design that is lab engineered and tested to meet industry standards.
After we learn that the mix design can be successfully created and implemented, the design is then imputed into the rapid plant’s computer software system.
When the rapid plant is operational and ready to create the material for your job site, the plant will then create the lab designed material at the appropriate production rate and ratio.
