Yesterday, I turned down a job because it required a lot of soldering. Not that I can’t do it, I just don’t like to. I burned myself a time or two and it’s just not my thing.
I’ve done a few gas jobs where GasTite just wasn’t an option. Took FOREVER!!
What to do what to do?

I'm amazed! The 'Ask a Plumber' thing I tried worked amazingly well. Several calls with simple questions and a few with trouble shooting, 'what should I do' and even 'how do I do that?' questions. One lady fixed her water heater with a simple free call. Keep em coming!

A little about us- we are a small plumbing company with huge technology. We tend to turn down the big jobs and focus on same day service or at least next day service. There are plenty of plumbers out there who will do new construction and remodel and I will highly recommend them. Its not that we dont have the knowledge to do those jobs, we just prefer to make our name as a local small time company. Reasons include overhead and manpower. We dont have the inventory and overhead the bigger companies have so we dont have to charge as much. Anyone can be put on a list for 2 weeks but we understand that when you need a plumber, you probably REALLY need one now. Small jobs allow a little flexibility in our schedule in case of emergencies. We do ALL sorts of work. Leaking faucets, stopped up sinks, sewers, disposals, toilet replace, gas line install, replace and repair, water heaters service and replace...if you can think of it we can do it.

Just adding a few pics to give everyone an idea. I've heard people say they didn't know this existed, much less was available in McCurtain County. Top pic is a jet rodder. This allows us to clean lines and unstop them far more effectively than a standard 'metal snake'. Also, we can reach out to 300' rather than be limited to the traditional 100'. The bottom picture is of our line camera. This tool allows us to inspect lines up to 130', in full color as well as record and place on a DVD for you to view as often as you like. The camera can pinpoint problems in your line within a few inches. The camera also features a locator signal that we can track when you have no idea where your line is or where it runs.

Straight Flush Plumbing is moving the office. Currently we are at the Homesteaders Market but I'm just never there. It was wonderful having everyone stop in and say hi, but it's time to move on. New crew, new truck and even better service is coming. Thank you all for your trust and faith in me and keep me in mind for small and emergency repairs. We still don't do big jobs. There are 11 plumbers in the county that will, but I've heard a million times "nobody wants to do small jobs!" Thank you, Straight Flush Plumbing.

Just getting the page set up. All my legal ends are being tied up this week. Insurance, bonding, LLC, EIN #. License is secured. Inactive license pending proof of insurance which should be done by the 6th of April. Tools and equipment should be here by then as well. Hello everyone, there is a new kid in town! I cant do much till April 9th, so this is just me saying hello.
