Great architecture starts with listening. đź‘‚

Before we draw a floor plan or start thinking about what a building should look like, we start with something much simpler:

We listen.

It’s the very first step in RESIN Architecture’s Proven Process.

We want to understand how you work, what isn’t working today, where you’re headed, how you want people to experience your building, and ultimately—what would make this project successful for you?

Because a successful building shouldn’t simply look good.

It should solve problems.
It should support the people who use it.
And it should reflect your vision.

Our job isn’t to walk into the room with all the answers. It’s to ask the right questions, listen carefully, and translate what we hear into thoughtful design solutions.

That’s why our process starts with two words:

They’ve already walked through this building—and it’s still under construction.

Before construction began on the new Citizens Community Bank in St. Anthony, we used BIMx to put the building directly into our client’s hands.

They could virtually move through the space, understand how rooms connect, experience the scale, and see what we were designing before it became concrete, steel, and walls.

Now we’re walking those same spaces together on the jobsite.

And there are no surprises.

The virtual building they experienced during design is becoming the real building around them.

For us, BIMx isn’t technology for technology’s sake. It’s another way we help our clients see more, understand more, and make confident decisions before construction begins.

Resin loves designing fire stations! And Resin Interiors contributes to every fire station we design. The needs of a fire station are unique - highly durable finishes that are easy to clean and resistant to potentially dangerous materials that may get tracked in after battling a fire. All the while, the fire station can be viewed as a second home to the hardworking fire fighters during long shifts, so touches of home and comfort as just as important as durability. Every fire station is unique and every mood board is tailored to their needs and goals.

Architecture is collaborative by nature. Every project that leaves our studio is shaped by conversations, questions, ideas, problem-solving, and a team of people who genuinely care about getting it right.

At Resin, we’ve worked hard to create a culture where our team can grow professionally, challenge one another, enjoy working together, and still have a life outside of the office.

A great patient experience starts long before the appointment begins.

For Sunrise Smiles in Ammon, Idaho, Resin Interiors worked with Dr. Reid to transform a gutted existing space into a fresh, clean, and welcoming dental office. The bold blue stripe in each patient room reinforces the practice’s branding, while matching acoustic wall panels improve sound control and help guide patients through the space. The result came from close collaboration and a shared vision for what patients should feel when they walk through the door.
