Local Class A CDL Driving Opportunity:
Torres & Sons is looking for a skilled and dependable Local Class A CDL Driver.

Position Description:
The Local Driver is responsible for delivering construction equipment to customer sites within a designated geographic area. The Local Driver will operate in compliance with all FMCSA applicable safety regulations and will maintain a clean driving record.

Responsibilities:
*Operate truck to load and transport equipment, materials, and loads of customers
or vendors within a designated geographic area
*Communicate directly with Truck Driver regarding deliveries
*Provide customer service through the use of handheld devices and/or systems with
dispatch and/or site personnel
*Drive within designated route and time constraints while complying with company
policy and procedures
*Maintain a clean driving record at all times (oil change, registration, etc.)
*Perform random inspections of vehicle for mechanical items/insurance purposes
*Provide reports on deliveries via handheld or electronic system or via phone call to
appropriate contact
*Assist in loading/unloading materials as needed
*Other duties as assigned by management

Education & Experience:
*Class A CDL with Medical Card·
*High School Diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent experience of (3) (five) (six)
months to a year with related experience.
*Previous experience delivering goods & services to customers using an excavating
truck preferred.
*Knowledge of safe driving techniques, methods, procedures, rules or regulations
governing safe driving that pertains to the area where driving.

Salary: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
