Structural of young trees can reduce future conflicts and risk as trees grow larger; it also can reduce future maintenance costs. We investigated whether volunteers with limited pruning experience could learn structural pruning techniques with simple training. Our data suggest that they can. POSITION DETAILS:
Full time preferred. Part time okay.
Tree and shrub removal, pruning and thinning, various other tree maintenance, as well as maintaining tools and equipment. Should be able to work with a variety of crew members. Ability to climb, stand, walk, kneel, stoop, transport heavy items.

REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Drivers License

EXPERIENCE:
We will train. Experience running chippers & chainsaws, stump grinder, skid loader, and/or mechanical ability is a big plus.

We are a 25 year established professional company in the Frederick area.
Our work is mostly local to the shop.
We do not climb trees everyday and use the bucket truck and our own crane frequently.

PAY/BENEFITS:
Pay is based on experience and or willingness to learn.

PAY RATE: Depends on experience and ability to lead the crew and provide exceptional customer service. Full time year round work.

REQUIREMENTS:
drivers license - CDL helpful but not necessary
At least 5 years climbing experience- crane experience is a plus.
Experience running chippers & chainsaws. Stump grinder and skid loader experience is a plus
Mechanical ability is a big plus
Snow removal experience is a plus but not necessary
